I studied theater in college and became infatuated with set building and lighting. I now build entire lansdcapes – but in a much smaller scale. In 2003, I discovered Department 56's Halloween series, a line of porcelain buildings lit from within that are arranged in vignettes or large villages. A new hobby was born, and over the last 10 years, I've learned many new skills like painting, woodworking, electrical know-how, and even engineering!
